The best known brand of waterbed conditioner, Blue Magic keeps the water fresh by repressing the growth of bacteria, reduces air bubble formation and helps lubricate and protect the inner vinyl. 

Aquastar mattress owners should be aware that their 5-year warranty requires the addition of Aquastar conditioner (see below).  

Add one bottle to your mattress every six months (conditioner works for a limited period of time).  Large mattresses, and those containing a thick layer of wave reduction fibre, will benefit from the addition of two bottles every six months (or one 238ml bottle).  Gently agitate the water to disperse conditioner throughout the mattress.

I recommend the regular use of Blue Magic vinyl cleaner to protect the outer vinyl.

First Fill waterbed conditioner  250ml      £15.00 incl. P&P

An extra-strong conditioner treatment intended to kill odour-causing bacteria present in mains water.  Add one bottle before filling a mattress.  

This product can also be used to treat a smelly mattress.  Note: a smelly mattress should be drained before adding First Fill conditioner.

Warning: Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles when using this treatment.

This product is approved by Aquastar for use in their mattresses and will not affect their warranty.
